Could it be a cellular phone? Apparently, it looks as though a woman is talking on a cell phone in the background. This is a snippet part of the movie of Charlie Chaplin's 1928 film "The Circus". Look at her left hand. Is she holding something? So, is she talking to herself or talking to a mobile cellular phone. Is time travel possible?
